Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have released more screenshots and character bios for Dynasty Warriors 9. The latest officer entries happen to be Cao Ren, Jia Xu, and Lu Meng. Folks interested in Dynasty Warriors 9 can look forward to a PC, PS4 and Xbox One release in early 2018.

The character roster for Dynasty Warriors 9 is growing substantially. The latest characters in the ever growing roster consists of Wei officers Cao Ren and Jia Xu, Wu’s Lu Meng, and Shu’s Xu Shu.

Koei Tecmo published this character update through its main site over on the “Characters” section. If you want to see the four characters and their full profile it’s worth hitting up the given link to read on about each officer.

For starters, the rational thinking Cao Ren joins the ranks of Wei in Dynasty Warriors 9. The courageous warrior perfected several martial arts, and even gained the trust of Cao Cao during his time as an officer.

Wei has yet another warrior who can be assumed in Dynasty Warriors 9, which is Jia Xu. Although Jia Xu originally traveled the land to avoid all turmoil, with his superior knowledge, Cao Cao could not resist a strategist of his level and soon grafted him into the Wei army.

Looking over to Wu, Dynasty Warriors 9 will have Lu Meng as a playable character. Commended for his hard work, Lu Meng boasted a straightforward personality that landed him the trust of his peers. Originally a warrior of brute strength, he grew into a refined general with exceptional skills.

The last character that Koei Tecmo revealed happens to be Shu’s Xu Shu. The official website reads that Xu Shu was once a disciple of Sima Hui, and after his arrest he then vowed to dedicate his life to scholarly rather than swordplay.

Dynasty Warriors 9 will launch for PC, PS4, and Xbox One in early 2018. Koei Tecmo will announce the Japanese PS4 release date on October 26th.
