Franchise Hockey Manager 4 Now Available

Out of the Park Developments recently released the sports management game Franchise Hockey Manager 4 onto the Steam store. The game features 24 leagues from around the world and features a campaign that you can play starting all the way back in 1917.

You take on the role of a general manager whose job is to take your team and help cultivate them so that they can race to the top and win the Stanley Cup at the end of the season.

You can play through the full 2017 through 2018 season, featuring real-life teams and players thanks to Out of the Park acquiring the NHL official license. So you’ll see the authentic logos, uniforms, jerserys and arenas, including 31 teams from the minor and major leagues in North America, the Canadian major junior leagues, and the European hockey leagues.

You can check out the trailer below to see all the stat filing, screen-swapping, managerial task-managing that you’ll be performing in Franchise Hockey Manager 4.

The trailer covers how you can manage the team either as the coach or the manager. You’re able to scout for talent in a detailed talent roster pool, as well as make trade offers with other teams in order to acquire the best and brightest hockey players in the league.

It’s designed to give gamers the sort of control and depth present in Sega’s Football Manager series, but for hockey.

New to the game is the ability to take on the role of the Vegas Golden Knights. You can outfit their roster with some new (or old) talent, and give them a good run through the season in an attempt to chase down the Stanley Cup.

You can also create your own teams, your own players, your own league rules, your own managers, and everything else in between. If you’re a stickler for details then you’ll find plenty of them in Franchise Hockey Manager 4.

You can learn more by visiting the official Steam store page, where the game is available for $39.99.
