Project 5: Sightseer is an upcoming open world single-player and multiplayer action-adventure research and development game that is set to release on December 4th, 2017. Tasharen Entertainment’s Project 5: Sightseer is currently in development for PC and will be featured on Steam Early Access.
Before detailing what Project 5: Sightseer has to offer, both the official description and gameplay trailer showing in-game footage sit below:
“Open world multiplayer sandbox game. Explore the procedural world, discover resources and artifacts, build outposts, research technologies — all together with your friends.”
Project 5: Sightseer is both a single-player and cooperative multiplayer game where players can explore an open world with sandbox features. The procedural generated world can be altered by mining tools and building outposts through research and development.
Taking it a step further, the developers have added a strong emphasis on science and the environment in Project 5: Sightseer. According to the mechanics in the game, if you were to burn coal it produces CO2, in which this CO2 can be stored in its gaseous form, but chilling it below -78.5 C will turn it into dry ice making it much more compact.
In addition to the above, if the same CO2 gets released into the atmosphere, nearby trees will slowly absorb it back into the environment, but upon burning too many hydrocarbons, it will slowly pollute the area and alter the terrain.
Lastly, players will be able to play offline, play online, and host private worlds to do whatever. Hosting a game offers a “Creative Mode” option where all resources do not cost a thing, making anything possible. This mod and option is said by the devs to bring out the creator in players.
Tasharen Entertainment has no official website for Project 5: Sightseer, however you can learn more about this game before it releases to the public to download for PC by hitting up its Steam Early Access page.
