Red Dead Redemption 2 Will Have Engaging Microtransactions

Take-Two Interactive will include microtransactions in Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2. This information that comes in as no surprise can be traced in a recent investors conference call. Red Dead Redemption 2 will release early in 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One.

All around the world like a big bright red cloud, traveling from home to home, TV sets and smartphones comes the microtransaction assimilation. Individuals reborn in this movement are tasked to spread the grace of loot-boxes to the world so that everyone knows the madness of greed.

It will never stop at this point, although I think many already assumed that Red Dead Redemption 2 would feature microtransactions given that Grand Theft Auto V has a form of it. However, publication site Gamasutra has revealed Take-Two CEO, Strauss Zelnick, acknowledging the great mental fondling and wallet molestation of microtransactions for all future titles.

As more and more people shed their inhibitions and indulge in the carnal ways spending money on skins, weapons, and emotes, Zelnick claimed that microtransactions accounted for 42% of Take-Two’s “net bookings” in the past quarter.

According to the publication site that usually stays neutral during these talks had to comment on this move by saying:

“This perspective is not terribly surprising, given that Take-Two continues to generate tons of revenue from sales of in-game items and virtual currency in games like Grand Theft Auto Online and NBA2K 17. “

Zelnick goes on to explain the gospel of Take-Two baptism of microtransactions by saying that…

We aim to have recurrent consumer spending opportunities for every title that we put out at this company. It may not always be an online model, it probably won’t always be a virtual currency model, but there will be some ability to engage in an ongoing basis with our titles after release across the board.”

Now it makes sense why Red Dead Redemption 2 was delayed from a Fall 2017 release to a Spring 2018 release. The team had to cook up different ways to get consumers spending opportunities to seem more pleasing and rewarding.

Seriously, this move will not end unless we put a stop to this with our wallets, unless the government steps-in, but when they step in it’s likely that they’ll craftily take over and continue this insanity in an alternate way.
