Devil May Cry: Pinnacle of Combat WIP screenshots have appeared showing off what the upcoming game will look like. Publisher and developer Yunchang Game will be over this DMC game, which is currently planned for mobile devices.
I bet a lot of folks thought that this Devil May Cry: Pinnacle of Combat game would be for PC and home consoles, right? well, no. The truth behind this game currently in development comes in by mmoculture.com, in which the publication site notes that Yunchang Game have obtained the IP rights from Capcom to develop the first mobile game based on Devil May Cry.
This does not mean that earlier rumors regarding a new DMC game are false, but it does mean that folks will have an option to play Dante on their mobile device(s).
Furthermore, no specific mobile platforms have been announced yet, but I think it’s safe to assume that the upcoming mobile game will hit both iOS and Android.
We also learn from the publication site that the Chinese publisher and developer, Yunchang Game, aims to make the mobile game an action RPG. The company is focused on the combat system, and disclosed that there will be online modes, including “Team-Battles” and “real-time Player Vs. Player” modes.
Additionally, Devil May Cry: Pinnacle of Combat is powered by Unity 3D. If you want to see early screenshots of the game in question, mmoculture has a list of stills for you to look over below:
Capcom hasn’t made an announcement in regards to the rumors about DMC5, however with the current amount of rumors pertaining to a new game and that the Devil May Cry HD Collection is set to debut across current consoles next year, it wouldn’t be too strange to think that Capcom has DMC5 in the works.
Anyway, Devil May Cry: Pinnacle of Combat is expected to launch sometime in 2018 for mobile devices.
