Jurassic World Evolution New Trailer Shows Off More In-Game Footage

The prehistoric dinos that once roamed Earth can be seen in an upcoming “business” sim game called Jurassic World Evolution. The game was once announced during Gamescom 2017, with footage of it later shown at the first annual Frontier expo on October 7th. Now the game has a new video showing actual in-game footage.

If you are into simulators and dinosaurs there’s good news for you. Publisher and developer Frontier Developments is working on a new game that focuses on the sim side of an actual 3D Jurassic Park set in Jurassic World.

The game, obviously, is based on the 2015 film Jurassic World, and is scheduled to release with the film’s sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, in June of 2018.

Set to release across the typical three platforms, PC, PS4, and Xbox One, gamers will be overseeing various types of dinos and even having to deal with them up-close.

If you missed out on the new trailer there’s no need to be worried in that it sits below. It’s worth noting that no gameplay is shown, but the video comes in by IGN seeing how Frontier Developments teamed up with the publication to show the following in-game footage:

Given that we don’t have real gameplay featured in the above video makes it hard to say if this game is something to be astonished by. In other words, just because the footage is “in-game” does not mean that the game is optimized well when there is a lot on-screen.

It’ll be interesting to see how the simulation mechanics play out. Will the game be in-depth to its core or will the game be simple and a surface sim? Sadly, only time will tell how the game will turn out when June 2018 rolls around.
