Kingdom Come: Deliverance Video Previews Sabotage, Poisoning Food, And Disguises

A new 16 minute developer diary was released from Warhorse Studios for the upcoming Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The game’s release date is fast approaching for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and so the videos these days focus on the choices and the quests that are currently playable in Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

The 16 and a half minute video starts with discussion about a quest that follow-ups on the last video. The developers explain that they will attempt to scout out a bandit camp in the north. They manage to hop on top of a horse and move along the road.

You can check out the video below.

The player is waylaid by two bandits on the road and we see more of the combat.

As you can see in the video above, unarmored opponents can be taken down rather quickly by stabbing or slashing them in the unarmed parts of their body.

The video also shows that an armored opponent requires lots of strategic fighting and tactics. Using a riposte against heavily armored opponents is important to wear down the baddie and reduce his stamina to open him up for a finishing maneuver.

Eventually, after the duo are taken care of, the devs showcase how the stealth works and the investigation mechanics operate.

We see that the bandits have regular patrols moving through the forest to protect their previous camp.

The video reveals that there are multiple ways into the camp. The duo decide to go in during the cover of night and use a more stealthy outfit to avoid being spotted.

Kingdom Come Deliverance - Equipment

We learn that some outfits grant stealth bonuses in place of armor points. So there will be giving/taking when it comes to equipping your character.

During the night segment, it begins to rain and it makes it easy for them to spy on the bandit fort and take out a few enemies along the way. Hiding bodies is also important to avoid being spotted or alerting the guards.

While inside the the fort, the duo uses poison on the enemy’s food to sabotage them.

They also kill one of the guards and take his clothes, dressing as a Cuman and walking into the camp.

Once you see how many of them there are, you can then head back and report to your captain to lead an army into battle.

Kingdom Come: deliverance is due for release on February 13th, 2018 next year for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
