Metal Gear Survive Beta For PS4 And Xbox One Set For January 18th-21st

The game by Konami that’s often referred to as the abomination comes Metal Gear Survive. Although the game will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One in 2018, the latter two consoles will sport a beta that will run from January 18th-21st, 2018.

As per usual, any video that comes out by Konami always has a significant amount of dislikes, and the new beta announcement and single-player commentary video covering Metal Gear Survive is no exception to the mass dislike rule.

On the topic of dislikes and fan opinion, a lot of the comments on the latest trailer of Metal Gear Survive note that the game looks interesting, but it’s no Metal Gear game.

Moreover, if you aren’t tired of zombies survival loot games and you want to give Metal Gear Survive a chance without spending actual money on it, a beta will go live on January 18th, 2018. Ending on January 21st, the beta will only be available for PS4 and Xbox One players.

Looking deeper into the beta, it will allow you to participate in a co-op mode to build, defend, and fight alongside with friends online.

If, however, you are interested in the single-player mode of Metal Gear Survive and want to know what it has to offer, a new video featuring game producer Yuji Korekado provides “a first look inside” the single-player campaign.

The story picks up from the ending of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. You the player are pulled through a wormhole and find yourself in an hostile environment filled with “biological threats”. The goal is to survive and find your way home, while fighting off deadly creatures and scavenging for resources.

The video showing Metal Gear Survive comes in courtesy of Konami.

Folks interested in this game will find that Metal Gear Survive is set to launch for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on February 20th in North America and on February 22nd in Europe.
