Publisher Deep Silver and developer 4A Games have been wishing folks happy holidays and promoting their games Metro and Arktika.1. However, it wasn’t all just empty well wishes, we actually got to learn a little bit more about the upcoming Metro game, Metro Exodus, along with monsters like the Demon and Watchman.
If you don’t know, Metro Exodus was announced back on June 11th at Microsoft’s press conference during E3 2017. The forthcoming game is currently scheduled, and has been reiterate recently by the devs, to launch for PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime in Fall of 2018.

The information detailing common enemies that will make an appearance in Metro Exodus, which happens to be the Demon and the Watchman, comes from yet another tweet. The Watchman comes loaded with an image, however the former has no image to bear its depiction in the upcoming game.
The following information comes from the 2018 game’s official website, which lies under the Mutants section:
DEMON
The Demon, a huge winged beast, is well known to Metro residents as one of the deadliest creatures around. Like a grotesque bird of prey, this creature can grab humans from the ground, and drop them from great heights.
WATCHMAN
With protruding joints, fearsome claws and yellowing teeth, the Watchman is one of the most common creatures in post-apocalyptic Moscow. Running in packs, these savage mutants stalk every street and tunnel.
A lone Watchman is no match for a trained Spartan, but their sentries can quickly summon reinforcements if not dealt with quickly and quietly…
More information on this game will surely pop up as we progress through 2018, but if you want to see gameplay footage of Metro Exodus and what was shown during E3 2017, you can check out the near five minute long video trailer below.
