Ant-Man And The Wasp Trailer Has The Wasp Saving The Day

If you were expecting Ant-Man to take a backseat in his own film while co-starring with Evangeline Lilly from The Hobbit and Lost, then you expected right. Funny man Paul Rudd plays second fiddle throughout almost the entirety of the Ant-Man And The Wasp trailer that Marvel Entertainment recently released.

Given the heavy emphasis on feminist-based storylines and heroism in today’s media, it would have been shocking if Lilly’s turn as The Wasp in Marvel’s upcoming super hero heist flick was anything other than her taking charge, taking command, and doing all the heavy lifting… literally.

Not only does she manage to out-maneuver the bad guys in the chase scenes, but she also manages to have heavier weapons at the ready than her emasculated co-star, and to top it all off she gets to beat up all the bad guys in the hand-to-hand fisticuffs scenes.

Many of the headlines from the typical Liberal media outlets center around the duo “teaming up”, but as you scroll through the Google News feeds you’ll see the taint of today’s current day sociopolitical bents rearing their heads to talk about how Lilly’s The Wasp is the one “kicking butt”, as noted by Cleveland.com. And then there’s the LA Times, which doesn’t stave off an opportunity to put the brunt of the praise on Evangeline Lilly for her “super heroics”.

And the typically effeminate British society would obviously favor a less masculine lead given how little focus they put on truly memorable, strong-willed male characters outside of James Bond, which is why the U.K.’s Standard gushed poetically over Lilly as The Wasp, praising her for showing up and putting on the suit to kick “some serious ass”.

Many of Marvel’s fans have already been thematically brainwashed to accept whatever the studio puts out, whether it’s pushing for forced diversity or trying to toe the feminist line, so as expected the general YouTube community have shown the trailer overwhelming support.

The film doesn’t look like it has much direction other than giving The Wasp opportunities to one-up a rather incompetent Ant-Man. Heck, we don’t even know who the villain is, other than possibly getting a glimpse at Laurence Fishburne who seems to be filling in the role of the token minority to hit the diversity quotas for the film. I suppose we’ll find out what the actual plot is aside from Ant-Man being a subordinate super hero ahead of the film’s July release into a theater near you.
