Black Desert Online Free Weekend Gets Underway On Steam

Pearl Abyss’ visually gorgeous MMORPG, Black Desert Online, is currently free right now as part of a weekend promotion on Steam.

Gamers who were interested in the non-targeting, action-oriented MMO with some of the most beautiful custom made waifus the world has ever seen, can check the game out for free this weekend, bandwidth permitting.

The free weekend will run from January 25th, at 10:00am Pacific Standard Time and will run all the way to January 28th at 1:00pm Pacific Standard Time.

This means you can hop onto the Steam client right now and start downloading the game to check it out.

Additionally, Pearl Abyss and Kakao Games are discounting Black Desert Online for gamers interested in purchasing the title. The game and the various packages are all marked down by 50% off, which includes the base game, which is marked down to $4.99; the Traveler’s Package, which is now $14.99; and the Explorer’s Package, which is now only $24.99.

The discount deal will last from January 25th up until January 29th, so you’ll have an extra day to decide if that free weekend was enough to convince you to spend some of your hard earned coins on a copy of Black Desert Online… and perhaps spend some extra time with that wistfully high-end waifu you spent all weekend working on.

For those of you who dive into the game this weekend, you can still take part in the Quests of Fortune events, along with the Light up the Skies lantern events.

There are also a number of rewards you can reap from getting social, and plenty of other quests and side-activities available as well. The details on the special festivities and patch notes are available over on the Steam community page.

Black Desert Online has been out and available on PC since last year. It’s been in beta since way before that. The game is a graphical masterpiece and very few titles even match when it comes to character and environmental fidelity.

If you want to give the MMO a try and build up your very own husbando or waifu over the weekend, for free, you can do so right now by visiting the Steam store page.
