New images of CD Projekt Red’s studio office for Cyberpunk 2077 have surfaced, along with information that their VFX Artist Jose Teixeira has supposedly left the company. Cyberpunk 2077 is supposedly going to be done when it’s done.
Without wasting any time, over on the Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date, Updates and Speculation Thread we learn that user Dani168 found some CD Projekt Red in-office images pertaining to Cyberpunk 2077. Dani168 used Google Maps to find a big Mocap studio, in-house gym, corridors, an audio room, and a room with a label that reads “Player and Weapons”.
There are other rooms such as one with the label that reads “world interactions / RPG / UI / Gameplay”, but since the room labeled “Player and Weapons” has a few more photos we’ll focus on that one.
In this room comes a wall full of test/prop guns:
There is another list of images that comes in by user Lisbeth_Salander. These images show us a slight peek inside the rooms labeled “Kabuki” and “Arasaka”; the latter is said to be a company in the world of Cyberpunk 2020.
The same user had also found a room with a glass door labeled “Psycho Squad” on it, which features a computer with a familiar image on it:
You don’t know what relations the “bloody bubblegum” image has? Well, it actually comes from Maciej Kuciara. Kuciara has made art for the The Last of Us, Universal Studios, Marvel, Warner Bros. Pictures, Blur Studio, Platige Image, Eidos, Crytek, and of course CD Projekt RED.
He, Kuciara, has a lot of Cyberpunk images floating around on Instagram and ArtStation that might detail something about Cyberpunk 2077. He’s also known for the below image, too.
The last piece of information that comes in again from user Dani168 sees that of CD Projekt Red’s Jose Teixeira, VFX Artist, supposedly now gone from the company:
“Say goodbye to Jose Teixeira. VFX artist and one of the nicest faces of CDPR had left the studio…”
This information can be traced by using linkedin.com to see his previous occupations being People Can Fly, and CD Projekt Red:
Jose Teixeira. VFX artist
Start and end dates of employment from November 2013 to December 2017 (4 years, 2 months) Warsaw, province Masovian Voivodeship, Poland.
If you don’t know who this Teixeira is, he’s the one who said that Cyberpunk is the biggest project CD Projekt Red has ever done. He’s also the one who said that CD Projekt Red’s tools for Cyberpunk 2077 were seeing an upgrade.
Finally, Cyberpunk 2077 is said to not only cost more than the Witcher 3, but it’s expected to make more according to CD Projekt Red CEO Adam Kiciński. However we’ll find out when it releases for public consumption.
