Final Fantasy VII Remake Concept Art Appears At 30th Anniversary Event

According to producer Yoshinori Kitase, Final Fantasy VII Remake development is going rather well. To celebrate the progress of the game and the series 30th anniversary, new concept art of Final Fantasy VII Remake has surfaced.

Fans of Final Fantasy VII who want to know what the upcoming remake by Square Enix has in store for them might not find the concept art at the 30th anniversary to be all that great, but it’s worth a look for those who can’t contain their excitement.

Instead of wasting time, you can check out the newly posted concept art of Final Fantasy VII Remake courtesy of Twitter user Junshen:

The event that’s better known as “Farewell Stories” 30th Anniversary Exhibition sees Square Enix debuting new concept art for Final Fantasy VII Remake. This art was hung up on walls at the event (as seen above), which appeared at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo.

For those baffled as to why the above images have surfaced ahead of intended time, it’s due to members of the press being invited to attend the exhibition ahead of its official opening.

Sadly, there’s no telling how the actual game will be through these concept images. Especially given that the latest concept art shows us stuff that we’ve already seen before in the past.

It’ll be interesting to see if E3 2018 or some other event will give us further insight into what has been cooked up so far in regards to Final Fantasy VII Remake. Given that we are months away from most of all the major game events, it’s likely that we’ll gain some sort of update during that time.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is set to release exclusively for PS4. No official release date has been set and will likely be announced in due time.
