Final Fantasy XV Launches March 6th For PC, Includes All DLC

Square Enix updated the release window for Final Fantasy XV on PC, along with detailing a bit more of the system specifications and what sort of content you’ll get in the Windows Edition of the 2016 outing.

The game is scheduled to launch on March 6th, 2018 later this year on Steam. It will feature HDR 10, 4K support (with options scaling all the way up to 8K), UHD texture resolution, and take full advantage of the Luminous Engine’s rendering capabilities for high-end PCs.

Some of the system requirements had been revealed last October, with a GTX 760 being the bare minimum GPU requirement to gain entry to the game. Blues spotted a slightly more updated system requirement panel, which still requires at least a GTX 760. You’ll also need at least 155GB of free space if you want to take advantage of the 4K textures.

Even if you don’t want to take advantage of the 4K texture update, you’ll need 100GB free for the 1080p version of the game, and at least 8GB of RAM to run the game.

For the 4K HDR support, you’ll need Windows 10 and an Intel i7-7700 or higher, or an AMD Ryzen 5 1600x or higher. Both CPUs need to be clocked at least at 3.6GHz or higher to run the game in 4K.

PC gamers also don’t have to worry about season passes or paying extra out their wallet’s butthole for additional DLC. Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto, Episode Ignis and the Final Fantasy XV: Comrades expansion will all be included in the base price for the game on PC. It probably makes PS4 and Xbox One owners feel a bit salty knowing that they’ve been beta-testing the real, true version of Final Fantasy XV for the past two years, eh?

Bonus content such as the Archive will be included, featuring a compendium of entries that cover the mythos behind Eos, along with bonus mission content to obtain and strengthen the Regalia Type-D, and all new achievements/trophies.

Also, for the first time you’ll be able to take control of the Royal Vessel… the boat that the boy band took to get to Altissia. You can explore the areas between Cape Caem and the majestic port city in the boat, along with engage in new fishing spots while on the boat.

Insomnia City has also been added as an expanded map, so you can explore new areas, fight two new bosses, and fight the Rulers of Yores while venturing through the city ruins.

As mentioned, you can look for the PC version of the game to launch on March 6th over on the Steam store.
