Stay, Adventure-Thriller Has Players Attempting To Save A Life Through Chatting

PQube announced that a new adventure-thriller game is in the works called Stay. The game is about a man named Quinn who works as a therapist. He ends up getting captured and wakes up in a dank room, and not the kind of dank room filled with memes. His life is in danger and he can’t escape. His only hope for survival is through a chat service on a barely working computer… and you’re on the other end of that chat service.

The game is being developed by Spanish studio Appnormals Team, and it centers around Quinn attempting to find ways out of the room he’s trapped in. Players will need to communicate with Quinn through the computer chat service in order to find some way to save him. There’s a teaser trailer below to give you an idea of what the adventure thriller will look like.

We don’t get to see much of how the chat app works in the game or what players will be doing exactly in order to save Quinn, but the press release reveals that players are on the clock, and will have to savor every moment and every minute in order to find some way to help Quinn. Apparently if you waste too much time where Quinn is left alone and he’ll end up in dire consequences.

The game plays out across 24 different chapters and sports seven different endings, dozens of different deaths, and features point-and-click puzzles to solve in order to keep Quinn alive.

It’s an interesting sounding premise that could end up being a neat little side game to play when it releases this spring for PC and Xbox One.

Appnormals designed the game so that you can replay it multiple times for a different experience each time around. While waiting for the game to release, you can check out a few more screenshots of the game over on the PQube website.
