Ubisoft has posted up a new video showing an hour of Far Cry 5 gameplay. The video dabbles into buying weapons, items, clothes, and fighting the Eden Gate cult. Far Cry 5 is set to debut this March across PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Now that the smoke and controversy has cleared that Ubisoft’s Far Cry 5 isn’t a “Christian killing simulator” that some “journalists” had perceived it to be, folks now have yet another chance to see what Far cry 5 is really about.
If gamers and those pondering over a copy of Far Cry 5 haven’t made up their mind yet, a new hour long video should be of use in figuring out what Far Cry 5 has to offer.
The video that Ubisoft posted up on its main YouTube channel contains a plethora of in-game footage joined by developer commentary. The video includes weapons, walking around, driving and doing various actions in Hope County, Montana.

If you are still considering picking up a copy of Far Cry 5 and you game primarily on PC, it’s worth citing the game’s EULA page over on Steam.
The official Steam store page that Far Cry 5 is featured on reveals the use of Denuvo anti-tamper tech. This is no strange practice by Ubisoft, since the company has been known for using the tech in most if not all of its recent games.
Lastly, Far Cry 5 is said by associate producer Philippe Fournier that the game will not have any form of loot-boxes in it. This was verbally confirmed by Fournier on The Game Fanatics‘ January 16th video interview.
Far Cry 5 will launch on March 27th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
