Ancestors Legacy, RTS Game Set To Hit PC And Xbox One On May 22nd

Publisher 1C Company and developer Destructive Creation seek to bring a game inspired by medieval European history to PC and Xbox One this May. The RTS game lets you assume the role of four nations – Viking, Anglo-Saxon, German, Slav — and fight in massive battles.

Ancestors Legacy is said to be a historically accurate RTS game, which takes notes from actual events during the Middle Ages. Features such as resource management and base building will be a thing, accompanied by large-scale battles.

The official description explaining the medieval RTS game can be read over below.

“Ancestors Legacy is a squad-based real time strategy with a strong focus on tactics. Inspired by medieval European history, it brings to life four different nations and their conflicts, usually solved by war. Open Beta available as a separate game in Steam store.”

Running on the Unreal Engine 4, Destructive Creation claims that you can experience medieval bloodshed like never before, which is enhanced with the cinematic action camera that puts you right in the battle at the press of a button.

You can be the judge of this RTS by checking out its newly posted trailer that comes in by 1C Company‘s YouTube channel.

The PC version via Steam has a beta version, as noted above, and stands as a separate entity in the Steam store. If you want to test the game in its beta phase yourself, the link to the free beta can be reached through store.steampowered.com.

As for the Xbox One edition, it will support an enhanced version through the Xbox One X. This means that if you want better resolution and frame-rate you can find it on the X version.

Ancestors Legacy is set to launch for PC and Xbox One this year on May 22nd. More information on this game can be found over on its Steam page.
