Bear With Me, Noire Mystery Game Heads To Switch, PS4, XB1 In 2018

Croatian developers Exordium Games announced that their point-and-click, mystery noire game, Bear With Me, will make its way to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch during the second quarter of 2018.

The game’s three-episode arc is already currently available for PC along with the collector’s edition. You’ll be able to pick up the collector’s edition for just $9.98 via Steam, and it comes with the original soundtrack in digital format, along with a digital art book, and puzzle design documents, along with some behind-the-scenes material to give you further insight into the development of Bear With Me.

As a way to say ‘thank you’ to the fans, Exordium Games also released the very first episode of Bear With Me for free on PC.

Andrej Kovacevic, the game director at Exordium Games, explained the reasoning behind this decision, mentioning in the press release…

“Anyone who wants to see why Bear With Me is worth their time can play the first episode for free, and the Collector’s Edition is there for those who want to dig deeper.”

The game is based around a little girl named Amber and her grizzly-voiced teddy bear, Ted E. Bear. Her stuffed animal companion is actually a hard-nosed detective, and together the two of them attempt to solve the mystery involving her missing brother and an arson that has rocked the town.

You can get a look at the game’s visuals and gameplay with the collector’s edition trailer below.

The first episode focuses on figuring out who started the arson, which then leads Amber and Ted E., down a narrative spiral that involves uncovering a plot unfolding across Paper City that involves the shadowy figure known as the “Red Man”.

Much like many other classic point-and-click titles, you’ll have to solve puzzles, investigate for clues, and interrogate potential suspects.

There’s a slight horror vibe to the setup, and it’s all surrounded in a black and white aesthetic.

You can pick up a digital copy of the game right now over on the Steam store for PC, or you can wait for the second quarter of 2018 to get your hands on the game for the Nintendo Switch, PS4 or Xbox One.
