Dog Hoggler’s Beast Battle Simulator has officially launched on Steam for $9.99. The game is very similar to the likes of Ultimate Battle Simulator, but instead of just picking random entities and having them face off against each other in giant battlefields, you can equip the physics-based actors with machine guns, cannonballs, and rocket launchers.
The game features more than 50 different units to use in battle, along with a bevy of weapons to equip to each unit, and a number of game modes to use them in, including the sandbox mode, a Beast Soccer mode, and an Onslaught Mode, where you can can basically play the game as a tower defense title, battling against wave after wave of beasts.
The real highlight however is that you can take individual control of each unit and play as the beasts during a round, using their abilities and weapons to wreak absolute havoc on the battlefield. You can check out the trailer below to get an idea as to how the game is played and some of the units that will be at your disposal.
As you can see there’s a buffet of carnage that will be available to you, including pitting dinosaurs with machine guns against dragons with laser cannons, or having a pit of giant serpents take on a bunch of hydras.
The combinations are pretty much endless, but an additional element of replayability comes in the form of being able to customize your very own beast and send them into battle.
If you’re in the mood for a bit more of a focused gameplay mode, the Challenge Mode is also available with more than 60 different challenges to complete.
You can finally see who will win between a bear and a rhino, a shark and a T-rex, or a bunch of camels strapped with bombs going up against a bunch of abominable snowmen.
You can pick up a digital copy of the game right now from the Steam store for only $9.99.
