The season finale for Telltale Games’ Batman: The Enemy Within arrives next Tuesday on March 27th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The announcement came through a trailer that was recently published by Telltale. The fifth episode is kind of a long ways out from the fourth episode, but I’m guessing most gamers are just happy that it’s finally arriving after waiting a couple of months to get their hands on it and finally finish off the story.

The trailer gives gamers a quick snippet of what they can expect from the fifth and final episode of the season. You can check it out below.

While the majority of the season was about infiltrating The Pact and the relationship that Bruce establishes with Harley and John Doe, A.K.A., The Joker.

Nevertheless, the side-plots are smaller routes that all lead to the road of villainy for The Joker. We get small bits and pieces of different story elements that eventually shape and mold John into the villain we all know. How players utilize the other characters to either help or hinder John determine which side he comes out on.

The interesting part about it is that players share a role in how they cultivate the Joker, whether he’s a menace for justice or an unstoppable force of chaos.

Telltale hasn’t been on their game for quite some time, but they really did redeem themselves with Batman: The Enemy Within.

It’s hard to deny the curiosity bubbling up from within that has been piqued regarding the final showdown between Batman and the Joker in Episode 5 of Batman: The Enemy Within. I suppose it’s more-so a question of how will players be able to deal with the Joker knowing that in many ways they helped create him? I guess we’ll find out come March 27th.
