Far Cry 5 Videos Show Character Customization And Mountainous Gameplay

Ubisoft has released a new Far Cry 5 video showing mountainous gameplay, which is followed up by another publication site’s time with the game showing character customization.

Before hiking the mountainous peaks of Hope County, a new video by publication site PlayStation Lifestyle shows the character you will assume in Far Cry 5 through the “character customization” screen.

The video reveals a list of categories such as Outfits, Upper Body, Lower Body, Hair, Headwear, and Handwear. It’s unclear at this point if the full version of the game will feature more options, but you can see what is currently available in the creation list below.

Some of the outfits and clothes can be unlocked by performing specific actions, however there is some items that are locked behind the Ubisoft Club like the Far Cry Primal pack.

If you aren’t into creating and changing up custom characters and want to see gameplay, Ubisoft released footage of the Whitetail Mountains. This rugged land of trees, ziplines, and dangerous animals is said to be a paradise for stealthy players.

In addition to Whitetail Mountains, wingsuits can be used on cliffs for getting the drop on enemies. Ubisoft has a new video showing this area and what you can expect to encounter when traversing Whitetail Mountains.

If you want to explore the world of Far Cry 5 and see what it has to offer the game will launch late March, a month longer than its original release date. Ubisoft explained that Far Cry 5‘s original February 27th launch had to be moved so improvements could be made to the game and bring the best and most ambitious Far Cry experience to gamers:

“For Far Cry 5, the extra time will allow the team at Ubisoft Montreal to make some additional improvements that will bring the best, most ambitious Far Cry experience in line with the team’s original vision.”

Far Cry 5 is set to launch for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 27th.
