Brazilian game studio, Aquiris, announced that a massive free update has landed for the mobile version of Horizon Chase World Tour, which is available right now for iOS and Android devices. The massive update contains new cars, new tracks, and new challenge cups for players to complete, likely to tide them over as Aquiris preps for the release of the PS4 and Steam version of Horizon Chase Turbo, which is due out this spring.
The new tracks are included in the all new Hawaii Cup, which is based on the very obvious real life state of Hawaii. It’s a tropical climate setting, hearkening back to the sunny tracks featured in games like Outrun. There are a total of nine new tracks included in the game, along with two new vehicles: the Janis and the Elite 275. You can check out the new content in the update trailer below.
The two new vehicles include the super car and the beach van. Both vehicles will make their way into Horizon Chase Turbo when the game launches this spring for Steam and PS4.
A few quality of life upgrades also made it into the latest update, including the ability to cross-save from an iOS device through the Apple TV and the iCloud. So whether you’re on the go or playing at home, you’ll be able to keep your data up to date no matter what iOS device you’re using.
And speaking of iOS… new iPhone X support has been added to the game. So those of you with the latest in iPhone smart devices will be able to take advantage of the newest enhancements that come along with Apple’s newest device.
Also, ReplayKit has been implemented into the game, so you can save and share your replays online and showcase what your best times are like to both your friends and your naysayers.
You can grab the latest version of the game from the iTunes App Store or the Googe Play digital distribution outlet. Alternatively, if you need to learn more feel free to visit the official website.
