Star Wars: Battlefront 3 has been long gone and yet, here we are, still witnessing supposed new videos and images of the now defunct title. The so-called new media showing the Wii SKU of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 have appeared with other interesting content, too.
Notice: It’s worth noting that some of the following videos and images are new and old, while some are even re-uploads of previous videos and images that were taken down. In other words, you may have seen the following content before, while other things may be new to you.
Thanks to Reddit user GrandmaAuntie, and the all things SWBF3 website thevaultproject.bplaced.net, we learn that there are “new-ish” videos and screens depicting the canceled game in motion.
If you don’t know, Star Wars Battlefront 3 was set to release for Xbox 360 and PS3, and thanks to a new batch of screens that were posted five days ago, we see that it was also intended to release for Wii.
The finding from the abovementioned links also lead us to unlisted videos and sound files that were intended for the second cutscene in SWBF3. The first video showing the game and TimeSplitters 4 content comes in by CloneCommOmar, which the following two videos are his too.
The next piece of content shows concept art of how the Galactic Conquest mode would look in Star Wars Battlefront 3. In total there are 11 planets depicted below, and if the Death Star is a playable location it would set it around 12.
Even though Star Wars Battlefront 3 is dead, I think fans who really like and enjoy the OG Battlefront and Battlefront 2 will adore these videos, images, and sound files.
This relic of a game can be further investigated by hitting up thevaultproject.bplaced.net, which the content on that site and as seen above were made public on Discord.
Star Wars: Battlefront 3 would have been published by LucasArts and was being developed by Free Radical Design. Development ran from 2006 to 2008.
