Bandai Namco and Square Enix announced that Tekken 7’s latest DLC will drop on March 20th. The DLC will feature Final Fantasy XV lead character Noctis Lucis Caelum.
Shoryuken is reporting that the Final Fantasy XV boy-band leader will make his debut in the fighting game for PC, PS4 and Xbox One at the end of the month.
Noctis joins Geese Howard as a DLC character, but he comes with several new outfits, too, including the Casual Outfit, the Royal Raiment, the Choco-Mog Style, the Fighting King’s Raiment, and the Kingly Raiment. You can check out the costumes and the Lucis King in action with the trailer below.
We get to see some of Noctis’ moves in action, including his ability to switch between the different light, medium and heavy weapons that he uses in Final Fantasy XV.
We see that Noct can take to the air with some vicious and quick air juggles, just as well as he’s able to power opponents into the corner and deal massive damage with slow and methodical heavy strikes.
If you’re still a little unconvinced about Noct as a pugilist, there’s a 23 minute gameplay video featuring a demo of Noct in action provided by bambooshoots game that you can check out below.
In addition to the new character and his costumes joining the ranks of Tekken 7, there’s also the addition of the Hammerhead stage, which features a day and night time motif. Noctis’ other boy band members are located in the background, including Ignis, Prompto and Gladiolus. You’ll also spot Cindy hiding away in the garage further in the back.
If you have the season pass you’ll be able to grab Noct once he becomes available on March 20th. If you don’t have the season pass then it means you’ll have to dole out some of your cold hard cash to get you a digital copy of the Lucean King on PC, PS4 or Xbox One.
