Square Enix has further detailed Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, stating that it will debut for mobile devices. Set to launch this year’s spring in Japan, the game in question, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, will hit iOS and Android devices.
If you are a fan of the 2006 released PSP port or the 1999 PS1 game Valkyrie Profile, you probably aren’t entirely fond of the idea of the game making a return for iOS and Android devices. Nevertheless, Square Enix will ship Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth across iOS and Android devices according to Gematsu.
I know the news of ports being mobile games draw in disappointment, however given today’s news should straighten out any confusion among gamers and fans thinking that this title might be for PC or home consoles.
In addition to the above, publication site Famitsu App was right about Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth being a mobile game, which can be seen in a new trailer by Square Enix Channel below.
Approximately a week ago, as of this writing, Square Enix had released the first teaser trailer for Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, so this platform and release announcement falls in line with our past speculations.
If you missed the teaser announcement for Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, the trailer sports a name of “First Teaser Trailer 2018,” which further backs the game’s release of a 2018 spring launch.
Square Enix last week also shipped a description that reads:
“You have the right to live. I am a selector of souls. I choose human souls like I’m picking flowers!? What is a Valkyrie!? Am I a god of death?”
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth originally launched for PSP in 2006. It is a port of the 1999-released PlayStation title Valkyrie Profile, the latest port will hit iOS and Android devices this spring in Japan. No information of a Western version has been announced yet.
