Deck13 Interactive and Focus Home Interactive announced that a free pack of DLC is currently available for the hack-and-slash, sci-fi gorefest, The Surge. The DLC has launched for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of the Soulsborne-inspired action-RPG.

The Surge originally came out last year in the spring, and to celebrate the one-year release, Deck13 and Focus Home released some free DLC for the game.

The free DLC contains three brand new armor sets for players to utilize and collect, as well as three new weapons and three new jumpsuits. The first jumpsuit is called the Angel and it supports better energy gain and allows for faster attack speeds. The Asclepius grants you regenerative powers, and the Nano Ward allows you to unleash explosive counterattacks when you block.

The new weapons include the new Dark Star experimental weapon is a prototype, while the Engelhart is a searing hot wielding weapon. And last but not least is the BioN J-1 Last Aid, which is is a surgical tool used to split organic material open.

In addition to the new weapons, there are also six new enemies that Deck 13 added to the game, all of which can be found at the Abandoned Production, the Executive Forum, and the Nucleus. You’ll be able to acquire the new parts by defeating the enemies.

In addition to the new DLC made available for home consoles and PC, Focus Home Interactive announced that all of DLC and the base game of The Surge are discounted by 75% off for a limited time.

You can pick up the new DLC right now if you already have the game by updating the title, or if you have it in your library but don’t have it installed, you can install it right now to access the new weapons, armor and enemies.
