Atomic Heart’s Second Trailer Unveils Customization, New Enemies And More

Atomic Heart second trailer has been released for public viewing and shows off a nice amount of in-game footage. From weapon customization to new enemy faces, the second trailer that Mundfish has just released reveals more about the shooter set to debut for PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime this year.

If I have to be honest here, two indie games that I’m looking forward to this year would have to be Ebb Software’s Scorn and Mundfish’s Atomic Heart. The games take the first-person shooter genre and mix it up significantly.

Atomic Heart is said by Mundfish to provide players a mystery to solve story-wise, a list of weapons to wield, gun and appearance customization, the ability to play stealthily, and the opportunity to fight Soviet robots and zombies in an alternate universe.

If all of that sounds like something that you can get behind, Mundfish has a new trailer out for you to look over. You can check out the new trailer right here thanks to the dev team’s YouTube channel.

The video trailer reveals a lot of locations, from snowfields with train tracks to a seaside abandoned base and underground facilities, it looks like there is a lot for players to explore.

According to the end of the trailer, it looks like there will be a world map in the game where you can select a place where you would like to go. However, I’m sure more information on that will come forth in due time.

Lastly, I like how weapons can be used to perform gruesome finishers like the combat knife stabbing out the zombie’s eyes and the ax impaling an enemy to the floor — which all happens in first-person.

You can find out more information on Atomic Heart by visiting its Steam page (not Steam Early Access) or by hitting up mundfish.com.
