FromSoftware recently published Dark Souls Remastered launch trailer, but it seems that wasn’t enough and we now have Bandai Namco over a new Dark Souls Remastered video showing off some of the game’s “Enhancements.” Dark Souls Remastered is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and will later release for Switch this summer.
Dark Souls Remastered has yet another new trailer out for gamers and fans to look over, except this time this trailer happens to be about some of the enhancements featured in the remastered version.
The new trailer boasts words that pop up and read “realistic lighting and shading FX,” “enhanced SFX,” new “atmospheric particle effects,” “upscaled 4K visuals,” “60 FPS,” “enriched sound,” and “six player online” support.
Speaking of enhancements, you can take a look at the new description and video trailer as seen below.
“Return to Lordran and prepare to eye all the NEW enhancements we’ve made to DARK SOULS REMASTERED! Pick up your copy today for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.”
Furthermore, Bandai Namco also announced that folks who own Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition on Steam will receive a 50 percent discount towards their purchase of Dark Souls Remastered for PC. This discount will bring the remastered version price down to $19.99.
In addition to the above, Bandai Namco noted during the early part of May that the Steam version of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition has been removed and will be replaced by Dark Souls Remastered as of today.
Folks who currently own Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition will still be able to play or download the game from their Steam library after it’s gone.
Finally, the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions of Dark Souls Remastered are currently available as of this moment, which means that you can buy them right now. However, Dark Souls Remastered for the Switch will debut this summer.
