Battlefield 2018 Reveal Date Set For May 23rd

Battlefield 1 has a secret room on the stage Fort de Vaux, which is only accessible if you have the French DLC “They Shall Not Pass.” The secret room is covered with a few boxes and crates, but it can now be accessed after EA and DICE shipped out a new update. The secret room unveils Battlefield 2018’s reveal date.

EA and DICE first released Battlefield 1′s first DLC, They Shall Not Pass, way back on March 17th, 2017. The expansion came with a secret door on the map Fort de Vaux, and it seems like the door that has finally been opened after an update, and a lot of fan research, holds Battlefield 2018’s reveal date.

You can watch a video that the very active DANNYonPC posted up, which goes into detail about “The Room” and what it has inside.

The reasoning behind the header image being that of a white horse is that inside the room has the same unfinished painting. The same room containing the painting also has a rhythmic sound of water dripping that translates into Morse code and leads to ea.com/neverbethesame.

Back on May 9th, we said that it would be likely that EA and DICE would release Battlefield 2018’s reveal trailer sometime a week or two weeks from now, and May 23rd fits perfectly into that time-frame.

With rumors flying around saying that Battlefield 2018 will be Bad Company 3, a World War 2 shooter, or now the new speculation of the Korean War — due to the white horse symbolizing the Battle of White Horse — we will soon find out what this year’s iteration will be on May 23rd.

More information on the forthcoming Battlefield game will be dropping very soon, but, in the meantime, what would you like to see the BF franchise discover and implement this time around?
