Bus Simulator 18 Download Now Available With Unreal Engine 4 Modding Kit

Astragon Entertainment and Stillalive Studios’ Bus Simulator 18 is now out and available for download over on the Steam store for $34.99. The game is currently discounted at 10% off the usual price so you can get it for $31.49 up until June 20th.

Bus Simulator 18 launched with full modding support thanks to an Unreal Engine 4 modding kit that the developers made available through the Steam Workshop page.

If you want to get your hands on the kit, simply click on the link, and then click on the big green “Subscribe” button to add the kit to your download queue.

If you need help getting started with your modding endeavors, there is a series of instructions made available through a document that you can view through the Workshop page. It will help beginners and veterans alike get acclimated to the modding possibilities available within Bus Simulator 18.

With all of that said, the game itself is a single or multiplayer bus tycoon simulator. You will start off as a lowly bus business and you will have to manage and grow your busing endeavors by completing missions and taking passengers around town.

The game is set in a fictional European countryside, but it’s pretty obvious there’s a lot of German influence in the design of the geographical location. You’ll be able to ride through the city and rural areas in a number of different officially licensed buses, including Citaro K, Mercedes-Benz, and MAN Lion.

The buses also feature full customization support, from colors and designs, to their liveries. You’ll be able to create your own routes or follow specific routes as you pick up passengers and drop them off at their locations across 12 distinct districts.

Different weather and traffic conditions will change the challenge of your route, especially with Stillalive Studios’ smart traffic AI design module that mixes up the difficulty with night driving conditions, construction sites, diversions and detours, road hazards and traffic jams.

Bus Simulator 18 also supports both single-player and multiplayer gameplay, so you can team up with several friends online and play the game cooperatively as you help each other grow your bus business, or you can hoof it alone in becoming a king of the buses.
