Crackdown 3 Delayed From Late 2018 To Q1 2019

Crackdown 3 is currently in development and was supposed to release several times in the past, but as time has shown none of its past release dates have come to fruition. Well, the prior Q2/Q3 2018 debut has been pushed back yet again, this time to Q1 2019.

It looks like the “bombastic” game, as some are calling it, won’t release any time soon or this year. And as a clarification, this isn’t a rumor or some form of speculation but the truth.

According to publication site windowscentral.com, Microsoft has provided the team behind the website a statement about Crackdown 3 flaunting a release window targeting February 2019.

Moreover, the new launch date is said to help Microsoft and crew focus on adding extra polish and features to create “the game fans have been hoping for.”

You can read the newly released statement in regards to the now ready Q1 2019 game for PC (Windows 10) and the Xbox family of consoles:

“Our fans’ response to the signature antics and explosive gameplay of “Crackdown 3” has been incredible. To ensure we deliver the experience they deserve, “Crackdown 3” will be launching in Feb 2019. We look forward to sharing more on “Crackdown 3″ this Sunday during the Xbox E3 2018 briefing.”

The good news is that Microsoft will show off Crackdown 3 at next week’s gaming event — better known as E3 2018. As noted above in the statement, a briefing on Sunday (June 10th), will reveal the latest work on said title, so we won’t have to suffice on old footage for once.

Speaking of old footage, you can check out the year-old E3 2017 video showing what Crackdown 3 is all about, which one of the many things is destruction.

Either save the date or mark your calendar for June 10th if you want to see the latest footage of Crackdown 3, because I’m sure the information at the show will have to hold us over until the game’s promotional campaign kicks-off late 2018 / early 2019.
