Dynamic Pixels’ Hello Neighbor is one of those games where it it managed to both captivate and frustrate gamers like no game before it. A lot of it has to do with the fact that it’s one of those rare games with its own unique art-style and aesthetic, and a premise that’s wholly original, but glitches and poor mechanical implementation has prevented it from reaching the heights it should have been able to achieve. Nevertheless, if you’ve needed help getting through the game and the walkthroughs just aren’t cutting it for you, there are some cheats to help you out.

Since the game doesn’t have lifebars and a health bar, you don’t need god mode or health cheats. And since you don’t kill things or need weapons, there’s no need to use an infinite ammo cheat. The main cheats you’ll be relying on are being able to freeze the neighbor’s AI so that he can’t keep chasing you. The main antagonist of the game is the neighbor, who will hunt you down all throughout the game.

The teleport cheat is extremely useful given that it will allow you to move around the game world and access areas that might require a lot of logistical platforming to reach.

Thankfully, since the game doesn’t have a multiplayer feature you don’t have to worry about the cheats ruining your profile’s integrity, nor do you need to worry about being VAC banned for cheating irresponsibly.

It’s just a shame that Hello Neighbor wasn’t quite as good a game as a finished product as it could have been, because the concept was ingenuous.
