Some of you may know that there’s been an increasing attack on gaming lately, specifically targeting anime waifus. First it was Valve, and then it was Sony. However, despite the hardships and tribulations put forward to keep young men from enjoying their waifus, some companies have struggled through forest of censorship, and the swamps of chastity in order to bring you the kind of waifu-bait fighting game that more than your heart could desire.
The latest waifu game set to arrive on the PS4 – assuming Sony doesn’t pull the plug on it between now and its release date – is Unknown Games and Degica’s 2D fighter, Koihime Enbu RyoRaiRai. It’s set during the Three Kingdoms era, but all of the fighters are females and there are no dudes there to ruin the gaming experience.
The game originally released on Steam back in 2016 as Koihime Enbu, but the new version is an overhaul featuring 14 different warriors to choose from, eight different assists, and the enhanced fatal counter system. The original game released with just 13 warriors, but Unknown Games added Chōryō and her strategist Kaku specifically for PS4 gamers.
In addition to the two new characters, they’ve also added additional color schemes for each of the existing members on the roster as well.
Also, Unknown Games and M2 weren’t afraid to retain the much appreciated boob jiggle and scantily dressed pugilists in order to give gamers exactly what they want.
The game actually uses 3D characters in a 2D fighting environment, where the characters are designed with an anime art-style very similar to Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear games.
The PS4 version of the game will retain the single-player arcade mode, along with the local versus modes, and the online ranked matchmaking modes.
You can look to get your hands on Kohime Enbu RyoRaiRai for the PS4 starting July 14th. The game is currently available over on the Steam store for $19.99.
