Nighthawk Interactive and Digital Dreams Entertainment announced that Mutant Football League: Dynasty Edition, is set to launch on September 18th for the Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC for $29.99.
The revamped version of the game features exclusive new teams and gameplay content, including the new Dynasty Mode where you play through a single-player experience as a coach and general manager for your team. You’ll need to train up your squad, level-up their XP, manage their salaries, their playbooks, and deal with free agents as you flesh out your team.
In addition to the Dynasty Mode there’s also two brand new species to play as, as well as six brand new teams to command. The team added in additional dirty tricks, new arenas, and all new traps.

The game originally came out last year for PC, and then launched earlier this year for the Xbox One and PS4.
The crowdfunded title is a throwback to EA Sports’ original Mutant League Football game for the Sega Genesis, and the accompanying kids cartoon that wasn’t very kid-friendly at all.
Anyway, if you’ve been craving a more arcade-oriented sports game for your Nintendo Switch or PS4 or Xbox One, you can look for the Dynasty Edition of Mutant Football League to launch at a retailer near you on September 18th. It comes with a total of 25 unique teams, some retail exclusive content, and Tim Kitzrow as the announcer, along with full multiplayer support.
If you enjoyed the rag-tag, rough-and-tumble nature of the original 16-bit games, but with the updated visuals of titles like Blood Bowl, you might enjoy a little bit of the mayhem and monsters featured in Mutant Football League. Besides, it’s also one of the few crowdfunding games that don’t suck.
