Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker Concerns Highlighted By Gamers While New Gameplay Footage Emerges

Looking to see what Soleil cooked up as of recent in regards to Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker? There’s good news in that off-screen footage has appeared at this year’s Anime Expo.

Bandai Namco and Soleil aren’t doing that great of a job when it comes to promoting Shinobi Striker. And with the game’s release set for August 31st, 2018, or next month, you’d think there would be more info on it, right? Well, slightly.

The publisher and developer have set up a booth at AX 2018 and let gamers playtest the game, which one of the many people who attended Bandai Namco and Soleil’s Shinobi Striker exhibit booth is YouTuber The Failed Chapter.

Make no mistake, although the first part of his video is titled “I’m Actually Liking This Game,” he does highlight issues that he believes might be a deal breaker for some gamers.

Firstly, there are server issues, which seem to have carried over from February’s beta to the AX 2018 build. According to The Failed Chapter, if server problems weren’t arising or connectivity issues, he believes that Shinobi Striker could be fun.

He also believes that this game may not be fun playing with randoms or by yourself, but more fun with friends or people that you know. While that’s all up for debate, you can be the judge by checking out his captured off-screen footage right here:

It is said by producer Noriaki Niino back in April that after the February beta test, the dev team went back and implemented several improvements and gameplay changes to Shinobi Striker. The changes are also accompanied by server stability fixes, too.

In addition to the above, the changes made are said to come at a price of being difficult to address, in which the results of these changes will be present in the upcoming summer beta.

Speaking of the beta, Bandai Namco will host it from late July into early August. The beta in question will feature new characters and a new modernized stage of Hidden Leaf Village.

And lastly, Bandai Namco has confirmed that Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will make its debut on August 31st, 2018.
