Frontwire Studios’ Galaxy in Turmoil was to revive the canceled Free Radical Star Wars: Battlefront 3 game, but it ended up down the drain in 2016 when a C&D was ordered. Frontwire, however, came back months later and replaced all Star Wars themed stuff with their own assets and created Galaxy in Turmoil. As of now, a playable demo is said to be coming soon.
Recently, the devs behind the spiritual successor to the OG Star Wars Battlefront games, particularly Battlefront 3, have updated its Steam page. The updated storefront reveals a new “gameplay teaser” that focuses on ground combat, space flight, UI and more.
Before jumping into the new video, we learn from the official description that Galaxy in Turmoil is running on Unreal Engine 4. The game will sport 32v32 player maps with space to ground battles and an all-new “never before seen competitive mode.”
“Frontwire Studios is working around the clock to develop Galaxy in Turmoil. Developed on the ever-popular Unreal Engine 4 by Epic Games, Galaxy in Turmoil boasts massive 32v32 player maps with full ground to space battles and an all new never before seen competitive mode.”
With that said, you can check out the pre-alpha version from the team’s current build right here thanks to Frontwire Studios.

Without a doubt, Galaxy in Turmoil looks like a pre-alpha game, but at the same time looks interesting. Hopefully, the devs can fix up the once Star Wars game to look even better.
In addition to the above, the demo is still in development, so it’s unclear when gamers will be able to get their hands on Galaxy in Turmoil. However, the demo will be used to gather feedback to perfect or squash any bugs.
You can stay up to date on all things Galaxy in Turmoil and the demo by heading on over to its newly update Steam page or frontwirestudios.com.
