OnePlus 6 Smartphone Boasts “Speed You Need”, Red Edition Launches July 10th

If you’re not familiar with OnePlus smartphones, it is a Chinese smartphone company, based in Shenzhen, China. The company’s latest OnePlus 6, smartphone was initially released back in May, 2018 but the new red edition isn’t due out until July 10th. The motto for this new flagship is “The speed you need”. This sleek, smooth and fast device starts around $530 US dollars and increases from $580 to $ 629; pricing all depends on the specs and color you desire.

The company boast that this baby is fast and smooth, it can breeze through apps and shift quickly between working, gaming and browsing. This device was design to save processing power apps, load time and not on wasted background images and invisible menus. Now that you have a general idea of what the company’s concept for this phone is about, let’s talk platform specifications.

The 6.28” Optic AMOLED display has a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels, it sports a chip-set Snapdragon 845 Qualcomm, with a CPU Octa-Core, The OS is an Android 8.0 (Oreo), with a non-removable 3300 mAh battery, the front of the phone is glass, with an aluminum frame. It has a dual nano SIM, corning Gorilla Glass 5, and no card slots. This phone sports a 3.5mm jack with HD sound, and no wireless charging. This flagship sports all the usual amenities Bluetooth, GPS, USB, and now sensors- fingerprint (rear-mounted).

The OnePlus 6 comes in three colors for now, Mirror Black (glossy), Midnight Black (matte finish), and a limited edition Silk White. Coming July 10th the color Red will debut for a retail price of $579 US dollars.
