What looks to be a full blown walking simulator with horror elements tacked on comes that of S.O.N, a game that was revealed on May 27th, 2018. If you’re looking for a “spooky” game to play at the year’s end, RedG Studios is set to release S.O.N on PS4 come December 11th.

With that said, the devs have released a new gameplay trailer showing off the title in question, which is done through the lens of an old video camera. The trailer reveals actions such as opening doors and examining things in an attempt to find clues around an old house filled with dead bodies, blood, and skeletons.

According to the devs, S.O.N is an “epic psychological survival horror” game set in the modern day. You play as Dylan Shuss in search of his missing daughter Tammy, who went missing deep in the Pennsylvania forest, better known as South Of Nowhere (S.O.N):

“In February 1996 Dylan Shuss, a desperate father went alone to South Of Nowhere in search of his missing daughter Tammy. The following footage was found 3 months later…”

The older description for the first trailer reads that players will assume the role of “Robert Alderson” looking for his missing daughter “Tammy.”

As it stands now, the game is currently in development for PS4 and no word on whether a PC or Xbox One build has been announced yet. However, if you want to play the hard-pressed alcoholic father, Shuss, searching for his daughter, Tammy, I think December has you covered.
