Publisher Xaviant Games and developer Xaviant will release The Culling 2 on July 10th or tomorrow for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The newly released announcement trailer not only reveals the release date and platforms but in-game footage, too.
It seems that the devs over the Culling 2 are very confident, so confident that we learn via the game’s Steam page it will be the epitome of “Battle Royale distilled into its purest form.” Oh, yeah, and we also learn from the same page that the “online server performance are all tuned” to provide the “cleanest, rawest, most visceral competition on the planet.”
Don’t take it from me, take the above words from the devs:
“You think you know Battle Royale? This is Battle Royale distilled into its purest form. The game mechanics, the match pacing, and the online server performance are all tuned to provide the cleanest, rawest, most visceral competition on the planet. It’s everything you need and nothing you don’t.”
Like any other game that hits Steam comes the official description along with a video trailer to convey the written into visual action. Xaviant provided both with pleasure, but it seems that gamers did not receive them in that way, though.
Anyway, you can read the description and watch the video trailer yourself and be the judge:
“The Culling returns to take Battle Royale to the next level. Real-world weapon ballistics. A strategically brutal melee combat system. Perks to customize your play style. Fifty contestants will drop in and compete for glory, but only one will be crowned the winner. Do you have what it takes? Find out tomorrow on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam PC.”

In case you didn’t watch the whole trailer to the end, The Culling 2’s arena is now 20 square kilometers big. Melee combat will still be in the game accompanied by “a wide range of firearms.” All ballistics have been “carefully tuned to match real-world equivalents,” opting for tense encounters. Lastly, 50 players will be a thing in “fast and brutal” matches.
The Culling 2 will make its debut on July 10th across PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
