The Division 2 And DC Comics To Release Narrative Comics Sometime In 2019

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 and DC Comics have announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 that the sequel to The Division will have a comic book, novel, and lore book out sometime in 2019.

Not too long ago, it was reported that BioWare and DC Comics have teamed up to make a series of Anthem comics in 2019. In addition, DC Comics has announced that it’s working with The Division 2 creative director, Julian Gerighty, to bring the post-pandemic world to life through a series of comic and novel books.

The Division 2’s official Twitter account has acknowledged the partnership as seen right here:

According to news.ubisoft.com, the comic by “Dark Horse comic book” will explore events after the first game leading up to the second installment, where readers will find out about the Strategic Homeland Division’s influence outside of New York City and Washington, D.C.

Furthermore, the novel follows April Kelleher, a female civilian of New York City, who is said to be a notable survivalist during the Green Poison disaster. Traveling from the hostile streets of New York to the devastated American midwest, the story will be about “survival” and “family”:

“Taking place in the months between The Division 2 and its predecessor, the novel follows April Kelleher, a resourceful and determined survivor who travels from the hostile streets of New York to the devastated American Midwest in a story about survival and family. The novel will be available March 2019.”

And lastly, the “World of Tom Clancy’s The Division” is a lore book that will offer “crucial information” about the world, tactics, gear, and mission of the Strategic Homeland Division. If you are into lore and art, then the 192-page hardcover book from DC contains all of that and more.
