If you want to play Yakuza: Kiwami 2 ahead of its late August release on PS4, then you have a demo to play that’s currently available for download from the PlayStation Store.
If you want to play Sega’s latest work, which is Yakuza: Kiwami 2, then you know what to do. Resting on the PS Store as a 10GB demo, the game (or part of it) is available for those who live in the Americas and Europe.
As for the actual content in the demo, gamers and fans alike will find themselves assuming the role of Kazuma Kiryu. The act of exploring the city will be one of the many things available to do, alongside other side activities in the demo — including karaoke, darts, and more.
You can read the newly published description right here and watch the new story trailer thanks to PlayStation’s YouTube channel:
“One of the most beloved storylines in the franchise’s history has returned in full HD in the Dragon Engine for PlayStation®4. Kazuma Kiryu thought his Tojo Clan days were behind him. He and his young ward, Haruka Sawamura, have built a peaceful life from the ashes of conflict. All it took was a single gunshot to shatter that peace. With war on the horizon, the legendary Dragon of Dojima is pulled back into the world he wanted to leave behind.”
If, however, you happen to be into pre-ordering games, the digital pre-order window is now live on the PS Store and includes an exclusive Yakuza: Kiwami 2 “Dragons” theme. Upon getting the special digital edition — available for a limited time — it contains the “Special Item Pack” as listed: Demonfire Blade weapon, Hostess Ono Michiyo, Sotaro Komaki R Clan Card, Jo Amon R Clan Card, The Comedian Suit, and 1 Million Yen.
And finally, the full version of Yakuza: Kiwami 2 is set to release in the West for PS4 on August 28th, 2018.
