Here’s The Latest Animal Simulators Worth Keeping An Eye On

Simulators come out a dime a dozen a year, but if you are looking for something other than a survival sim and seek a few animal games that offer different mechanics, then Maneater, Bee Simulator, and Untitled Goose Game might be sims worth checking out.

Featured on this very site before comes Maneater. This game doesn’t see you playing as an anthropomorphic shark trying to behave like human. Instead, you will fully embody aquatic life by swimming around underwater like a typical great white selachimorpha, crash beaches, attack different boats, and terrorize piers.

But, that’s not all, Maneater has you doing more than disrupting the top-of-the-food-chain parties. Other encounters include battles against whales, alligators, and other sharks, too.

Publisher Tripwire Interactive and developer Blindside Interactive will release Maneater sometime “soon.” The game has no release date, nor other platforms (like PS4 or Xbox One) announced yet. But you can learn more about this game by visiting maneatergame.com or its Steam page.

The next game on this list that also happens to be featured on this site is Bee Simulator. You may think the world around you in this game is honey sweet, but the world of bees is not as carefree as one may think. Wasps will take any chance to ruin your busy bee life as well as humans. You also have a stinger, so don’t hesitate to use it on wasps or pedestrians.

Other features in Bee Simulator consists of traveling a macro scale world from the micro perspective of a honeybee, roaming a realistic representation of a place inspired by Central Park, and the ability to interact with the surroundings like people, animals, plants, and other insects.

Publisher and developer Varsav Game Studios plans on shipping Bee Simulator to PC via Steam, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this fall. You can learn more about this game by visiting its Steam page or beesimulator.com.

Untitled Goose Game, the last title on this list, is but and yet isn’t a simulator. However, you will have the opportunity to assume the role of a “horrible” goose in this slapstick-stealth-sandbox game. Letting loose on an unsuspecting village or making your way around town, this game lets you explore peoples’ back gardens, the high street shops, and the serene village-scape. Of course, you are visiting all these places while setting up pranks, stealing stuff, honking a lot, and ruining everyone’s day.

Publisher Panic and developer House House will release Untitled Goose Game for PC and Nintendo Switch early 2019. You can find out more by paying its Steam page or goose.game a visit.
