Square Enix To Show The Quiet Man Gameplay Via Live Stream August 9th

Want to see Square Enix and Human Head Studios’ The Quiet Man in action? The two will supposedly reveal gameplay of The Quiet Man next week on August 9th. This will be the first time in-game footage of the PC and PS4 game will be shown off.

The E3 2018 trailer that’s currently on PlayStation’s YouTube channel opens with a live-action segment that’s shortly followed by CGI scenes of The Quiet Man fighting hoodlums in an alleyway, which concludes with more live action footage.

Like any other teaser trailer, the idea behind it was to pique the interest of viewers. Whether The Quiet Man’s teaser trailer at the now ended June games event did that or not remains to be a mystery, but we’ll soon find out next week.

We know this thanks to Square Enix recent listing on sep.jp.square-enix.com. The given link details both the date and times when The Quiet Man’s gameplay stream will go live — that is if you’re interested.

In addition to the above, producer Kensei Fujinaga will make an appearance on the August 9th stream, which is set to kick-off at 20:00 JST. In case you want to watch it, you can catch the stream via Nico Nico or Square Enix’s YouTube channel.

If you don’t know what The Quiet Man has to offer or what it is, you can check out both the official description and teaser trailer right here:

“THE QUIET MAN™ delivers an immersive story driven cinematic action experience seamlessly blending high-production live action, realistic CG and pulse-pounding action gameplay. Embark on an adrenaline-fueled motion picture like experience which can be completed in one sitting.”

Finally, The Quiet Man will release across PC via Steam and PS4. No word on a release date has surfaced yet, but I’m sure Square Enix will provide a release window during next week’s stream.
