Aion 2, Blade And Soul 2 Announced For Mobile Devices

Following on the heated news that Diablo Immortal would be a mobile-only title coming out of the partnership efforts between NetEase and Blizzard, NCSoft announced that there are two sequels on the way for two of its most popular games, Aion and Blade & Soul.

MMO Culture is reporting that NCSoft announced that Blade & Soul 2 and Aion 2 will both make their debut on mobile devices.

The announcements were accompanied by brief game descriptions and cinematic trailers.

The Blade & Soul 2 cinematic showcases the major character classes doing all the sort of cool stuff you won’t be able to do in the mobile game.

It’s funny that they actually made the male characters look Korean in the trailer. That’s different.

They also retained the boob jiggle – every step that chick took you could see some bounce and wiggle taking place in her chest region.

There’s also a second trailer showcasing what’s supposed to be gameplay. It looks really good, but it’s highly doubtful that it’s real-time gameplay given that it looks better than most console and PC games.

You can check out the video below.

Both the videos have the ratings disabled, but the comments speak volumes.

Despite the protests against mobile gaming, NCSoft is claiming that Blade & Soul 2 will feature a more dynamic ecosystem that NPCs will actually take part in, which will likely excite all the NPCs that currently dominate social media services.

Aion II will also make its debut on mobile devices only, and the big claim to change is that the gliding will be revamped to allow players more freedom. You can check out the debut trailer below.

It seems weird that NCSoft spent so much time and money on cinematics for mobile games. Most mobile users who will play these games are casuals and they will never see these videos anyway. What’s more, most of the whales won’t care about fancy graphics or quality gameplay since they’ll be too addicted to the loot boxes to care.
