Euro Truck Simulator 2: Beyond The Baltic Sea Adds 13km Of New Roads In Russia, Finland, Latvia

SCS Software announced that the latest expansion pack for Euro Truck Simulator 2 called Beyond The Baltic Sea will be made available for PC gamers starting next Thursday on November 29th, 2018.

The new DLC pack will add a number of new locations and missions for players to complete across Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, south Finland, and segments of western Russia.

Each of the new countries added to the game will also come jam packed with their own collection of cities to visit, along with small towns, shipping ports, villages, distribution centers, and industries. SCS have added 13 thousand of kilometers of new road, filled to the brim with culturally-respective landmarks, including being able to drive through the bustling metropolis of Saint Petersburg, or the heavy industrial areas of Finland.

As you can see, SCS Software paid especially prime attention to the small details in each location, bringing the tolls, the bridges, crossovers, and sights to life in order to maintain the level of realism that fans expect from the Euro Truck series.

They built some of the assets for the game from the ground up, along with implementing location-accurate trains, trams, and traffic cars operated by the AI.

Brand new docks and industries based on local companies in each of the regions have also been added, totaling 30.They’ve also added the new Finland High Capacity Transport, featuring a brand new cab and two long trailers.

Two new achievements have also been added to the expansion for players to unlock. You’ll be able to get your hands on the expansion starting next week for $17.99 in the U.S., €17.99 in Europe, and £13.49 in the U.K.

You can check out the Steam store page to learn more about the DLC or pick up a digital copy when it drops on November 29th.
