Warcraft 3: Reforged Coming In 2019 For $29.99

The completely remade and remastered Warcraft III: Reforged is set to launch exclusively on PC via Battle.net starting in early 2019 for $29.99. The game is currently available for pre-purchase over on the Battle.net shop, where two additional versions are also available in the form of the Spoils of War Edition for $39.99, which comes with a Meat Wagon mount for World of Warcraft, a Hearthstone: The Third War card pack, a new pet in Diablo III, additional content in StarCraft II and StarCraft: Remastered, and four legendary heroes from Warcraft III that will be available in Hero of the Storm, including Jaina, Thrall, Anub’arak, and Tyrande.

All of the visuals for Warcraft III: Reforged have been completely remade with high-resolution character models, updated units, and completely overhauled maps. You can check out the updated campaign trailer for the game below.

The game features a full length campaign mode, four hours of reshot cutscenes, updated voiceovers, and 60 different missions within the single-player mode.

The remake will also come with many of the popular features from the original 2002 release, including the ability to make your own mods using the World Editor. This will enable you to create all new custom maps and mods for the game and share them with the world.

There’s also brand new quality of life features themed around today’s technology, including an overhauled matchmaking system for PvP.

The BlizzCon crowd was completely behind Blizzard with the Warcraft III: Reforged announcement, which is the total opposite reaction that they received for Diablo Immortal. When gamers booed the mobile ARPG off the stage, game journalists and their NPC minions leaped into action after taking a good swig from their Styrofoam cups filled with soy, and they began attacking gamers who hate pay-to-win microtransactions and predatory loot boxes.

Anyway, you can look for Warcraft III: Reforged to launch in 2019 for PC. It remains to be seen if Blizzard will have some other monetary scheme up their sleeve to pilfer the pennies out of the pockets of unsuspecting gamers.
