Fatshark Studios and Games Workshop announced that a new piece of DLC is on the way for Warhammer; Vermintide II. The DLC is called “Back to Ubersreik” and it will see players making a return to the map from the original Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide.
According to the developers, the DLC will feature the return of the Horn of Magnus, along with two other levels from the original The End Times: Vermintide.
The DLC will go live in December next month, and so far the content will be themed around the levels from the first game. According to Martin Wahlund, the CEO of Fatshark, he mentioned in the press release…
“Horn of Magnus has a very special place in our hearts here at Fatshark. It’s a homecoming for anyone that has played the first Vermintide, and a new experience for players who first became Heroes in Vermintide 2 ”
You can check out the teaser trailer for the DLC below, but there’s literally nothing to it save for the logo.
This is likely in response to all the complaints from gamers who have been begging for more content and DLC for Warhammer: Vermintide II.
The last DLC to drop for the game came back in late August and was called the “Shadows Over Bogenhafen”.
The big issue with the DLC was that it was rather sparse in content and didn’t seem to expand on what Fatshark had accomplished with pushing the game out in the first place.
A full-on release date wasn’t revealed just yet for the upcoming DLC, but they will likely detail it along with the rest of the content closer to the release. The expansion will be available for both Xbox One and PC gamers.
