Looking to travel knee-deep in snow and flee the ruins of Moscow while embarking on a journey across post-apocalyptic Russia? If you answered ‘yes’ emphatically, do know that you’ll be able to do so slightly early now that Deep Silver and 4A Games have bumped up Metro: Exodus’ 2019 release date.
Yes, Metro: Exodus has gone gold which brings the following news that the official release date has moved up from February 22nd, 2019, to February 15th, 2019. Although not by much, I’m sure eager fans will be happy to know that the devs behind said game are confident enough to release their product early instead of delaying it like say a revised WW2 game that still released with major problems.
Anyway, to celebrate Metro: Exodus going gold, Deep Silver and 4A Games partnered up with Elastic.TV to show off the early 2019 game’s title sequence, as mentioned in the tweet below:

If, for some reason, you have trouble viewing the above tweet you can watch the official title sequence trailer relaying the same info below thanks to Metrovideogame.
“Created by Elastic.tv, the award winning makers of some of the most iconic title sequences of recent years including Game of Thrones and Westworld, this beautiful introduction to the game is set to an original score by Metro series composer Alexey Omelchuk.”
If you don’t know, Metro: Exodus will be taking on EA and BioWare’s Anthem early next year as well as Microsoft and its army of developers’ Crackdown 3… that is assuming the latter two titles don’t face yet another delay as seen throughout 2018.
Lastly, the first-person action adventure title will debut across PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 15th, 2019, a week early than its previous release date. If you want to, you can learn more about Metro: Exodus by heading on over to metrothegame.com or deepsilver.com.
