Jump Force Adds Dai From Dragon Quest; PS4, Xbox One Beta Test Starts January 29th

Jump Force is due for release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on February 15th, but Bandai Namco is still announcing new characters for the game just weeks out from release.

The newest character added to the roster is the main hero from Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai, Dai.

According to the press release, Dai will have the ability to make use of his sword with devastating combos and he will also be able to drop some mean magic attacks on foes, too.

They don’t show any footage of Dai in action, but they did roll out a new story trailer explaining how heroes are being collected across the Jump (the different universes) as they face off against a group of villains attempting to destroy the old world and creating a new one.

There wasn’t any new gameplay on display but we do see more cinematics and a few more villains on display.

This also coupled up with news from Bandai Namco announcing the beta dates for Xbox One and PS4 owners.

According to the tweet from Bandai Namco, the first session gets underway January 29th between 8:00am to 1:00pm. The second session starts January 30th from 5:00am to 10:00am. And the third and final session runs from 4:00pm to 9:00pm on February 2nd.

You’ll be given access to 17 different characters and five different stages. This includes playable characters from One Piece, Naruto, Fist of the North Star, Yu Yu Hakusho, Bleach and Dragon Ball Z.

You can look for the full version of the game to launch on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC starting February 15th next month.
