Fantasy Soft Stands With Vic Mignogna, Says He’s Innocent Until Proven Guilty

In all of the hubbub circulating about the allegations aimed at voice actor Vic Mignogna, as well as a few fingers pointed at fellow voice actor, Todd Haberkorn, there was actually one company that came out and said that they would continue to support the actors until it was proven in the court of law that they were guilty.

The letter of support actually went out during the more turbulent time of February 7th, 2019 over on the Fantasy Soft Entertainment Twitter account.

The animation production company publishes comic books, short films, animated films, and they have a video game in the works.

If you’re unable to read the statement, it says…

“Concerning all of the allegations against Vic Mignogna and Todd Haberkorn, we’ve decided to stand with them until we see concrete evidence of wrongdoing. To our knowledge, there are zero police reports and zero formal complaints. Until then, Vic and Todd will always have a home here at Fantasy Soft Entertainment. No matter how big or small we’ll become, we will stand up for our employees and won’t throw them under the bus.

“It is innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around.”

This is a rare take from a production company, given that Rooster Teeth and Funimation were quick to condemn Vic Mignogna and fire him from projects like RWBY and all future projects such as Dragon Ball Super, even after he starred in Funimation’s Dragon Ball Super: Broly as the main antagonist, Broly. They did so without any solid evidence that Mignogna had committed any kind of misconduct. It was all based on internet social media chatter.

A lot of Vic Mignogna fans in the thread that Fantasy Soft Entertainment posted are duly appreciative of the company upholding the standards of the law without jumping to conclusions and condemning Mignogna without due process.

For now Mignogna has decided to keep a low profile while more of the drama unfolds. Whether or not he’ll take up Fantasy Soft Entertainment on any projects remain to be seen, but at least it appears to be an option if nothing else opens up down the road.
